Welcome to Elian Rags cattery and our beloved cats. My name is Beverly Elian, living in Bucharest, Romania, married to Alex and I have 3 children, Becky, James and Charles. Apart from the cats we have 2 dogs, Disco and Polka Dot.

I brought my first ragdoll home in 1998, Smudge, fell in love with him, then decided to breed these wonderful cats as I wanted to share the joy of having a ragdoll with other people. In 1999 I bought my first 2 females, and have never looked back, enjoying the breeding and showing involved in this hobby. Not only do I have my beloved cats, but the hobby has brought me some wonderful friends as well.

A little about Ragdolls. They are friendly, loving cats and are eager to be with their owners. They will greet their owners when they come home, follow them around the house like a dog and are curious to meet their guests. They love to have the owners' undivided attention and want to sleep by them or on their lap. They are very softly spoken, but will "answer" to their owners when spoken to.
